View from the 6th and 15th tee

The view from 6th/15th tee on 484-yard undulating Brambles hole, a par 5, and the longest hole on the course. From the yellow tee it is 457 yards and from the winter mat it is 471 yards. With a stroke index of 6, the ground slopes downhill to yet another ditch, then rises sharply uphill. From the top of the high ridge the fairway veers right to the tree-lined green shaped like an upturned saucer.

The 15th tee (455 yards from the yellow tee and 471 from the winter mat) is on the right at an angle to the fairway. The stroke index on the second circuit is 7.

All golfers at Woodford must wear a significant item of clothing (e.g. shirt, jumper, trousers) which is bright red — either scarlet or pillar box red — to conform with Corporation of London rules. Golfers must also not wear T-shirts, jeans, trainers or sports shoes on the course.
