The 10th hole

The 10th hole, a 404-yard par 4 from the white tee (358 yards from the yellow tee and 383 yards from the winter mat), is called The Dell. The tee is just a short walk from the clubhouse on Sunset Avenue. The stroke index is 1. The approach to the green is identical to the 1st hole whose fairway merges with the 10th beyond the trees on the left.

All golfers at Woodford must wear a significant item of clothing (e.g. shirt, jumper, trousers) which is bright red — either scarlet or pillar box red — to conform with Corporation of London rules. Golfers must also not wear T-shirts, jeans, trainers or sports shoes on the course.
