Ladies start here!

Do you want to play golf? Are you a total beginner or do you need to get your game into shape before joining a club?

Or maybe you just need an active sport for your retirement?

Woodford Ladies are keen to welcome new playing members. So come and join us between 9am and 10am on Thursday mornings at our club house in Sunset Avenue, Woodford Green, Essex, IG8 0ST. Have a cup of coffee with our golf girls and find out what it all entails.

We can also arrange to meet on Sunday mornings if you still working.

We are happy to take new ladies around our lovely forest course – one of Woodford’s best-kept secrets, but one that we want to share.

Woodford Golf Club is launching a new lady beginner membership scheme.

You will get:

        SIX 30-minute lessons with our professional, Adam Baker;

        SIX 5-hole games with a lady member

        OR SIX 9-hole rounds alone or with another beginner;

        full use of  our club shower and changing facilities; access to the bar; the opportunity to be included in our full social calendar of lunches, dinners, race nights, away days and group holidays.

This Café golf package costs £199 and is valid for 12 months from the date you join.

At the end of that time, the professional will assess your game. Options then will include joining as a full seven- or six-day member, joining our successful associate membership scheme, or having a further 12 months on this programme on the same terms.

Come along to the club on Thursday mornings after you have dropped the kids at school or have a chore-free couple of hours. And don’t forget that there’s a Sunday option for ladies who may be still working.
