Woodford Golf Club is an old-established course set in Epping Forest, Essex, on the fringes of London, and easily accessible from major roads and public transport networks.
The course is especially noted for its greens, usually fast-paced with interesting contours. There are no bunkers on the course, but some holes have transverse ditches and all greens are effectively protected at the back and both sides, meaning a careful approach is required.
The course measures 5,852 yards, par 70, off the competition tees (white spots). Off the general play tees (yellow spots), the course measures 5,498 yards, par 70. Red spots denote the ladies' tees, 5,365 yards, par 70. Blue Tees refers to Winter Mats.
Visitors can play a full 18 holes, or opt to play just 9.
